Having observed the Israeli-Palestinian conflict closely for the last 30 years, it pains me to say this. Unless activists like Peter Beinart are successful in changing hearts and minds in order to establish a binational state for both peoples, with equal status, dignity, respect, rights and responsibilities, the fate of Palestinians is going to be similar to that of the Kurdhish people.

They will be without a country of their own and will live as displaced people throughtout the world. The dream of a two-state solution is long dead. I will be very happy to be wrong in the months and years ahead but I am not going to hold my breath. History may not apportion blame for this in one tune, but I am going to apportion blame for this equally to both sides. But Israel has won the battle for land.
