National Parliament of Bangladesh

Riaz Osmani

30 March 2026

This article presents a list of 133 ordinances issued by Bangladesh’s previous interim government, along with brief descriptions of each. These have been placed before the country’s new parliament on the very first day of its first session. The aim is to pass them into law within 30 days; otherwise, they will automatically lapse. It must be noted that these matters do not fall under the July Charter. Even where some items may technically fall within its scope, they do not constitute constitutional reform.
